Swan, a Brussels-based Big Data & Analytics company founded in 2013, was acquired by the Bisnode Group in January 2017. Since then, the team has been at the epicenter of the group’s international strategy around Big Data & Analytics. In order to fulfill those objectives, we are looking for a Big Data engineer with strong experience in Python, Kubernetes and cloud technologies willing to join a high-talented, innovation-infused expert team in a company that combines the flexibility, culture and atmosphere of a startup, with the power of a big international group.

Some challenges that awaits you are:

    • Build and deploy analytics oriented microservices.
    • Use infrastructure as code principles to build D&B Europe’s analytics infrastructure.
    • Set up ETL processes.
    • Deploy and train machine learning models in close cooperation with our data scientists.
    • Work in state of the art microservice and serverless infrastructure.

To meet those advantages, we are looking for a profile that shares our standards and values:

    • You have a strong experience with Python, both for data processing and REST APIs;
    • You have a strong experience with MongoDB;
    • You have a strong experience with Elasticsearch;
    • You have a strong experience with cloud technologies, specifically AWS;
    • You have experience with Docker/Kubernetes;
    • You have experience with ETL processes;
    • You have a teamwork approach;
    • You are sociable and you like sharing your expertise, findings, experience and tips;
    • You are curious and you like learning new things;
    • You have a problem-solving approach;
    • You have a flexible mind;
    • You speak English (at least);
    • You enjoy laughs and fun (we will be very serious about your sense of humour).
