Skills, knowledge, experience required:

• A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline;
• Alternatively, 5 years of relevant industry experience;
• A minimum of 3 years recent experience in business critical IT Service Management solutions involving BMC TrueSight Orchestration (version 20.x and higher), both in classic and container modes;
• A minimum of 3 years recent experience integrating BMC TrueSight Orchestration with various other systems, including but not limited to BMC Remedy ITSM Suite, BMC TrueSight Operations Management, BMC Discovery, and a variety of other third party applications;
• ITIL 2011 (or later) Foundation;
• Extensive experience installing and upgrading BMC TrueSight Orchestration (version 20.x and higher) in both classic and container modes, and in highly available and multi-site resilient designs;
• Experience configuring BMC TrueSight Orchestration to integrate with Remedy AR Service (version 9.1 and higher);
• Experience configuring BMC TrueSight Orchestration to integrate with BMC TrueSight Operations Management;
• Experience configuring BMC TrueSight Orchestration to integrate with BMC Discovery;
• Experience configuring BMC TrueSight Orchestration to integrate with third party network and system management tools, including industry leading software defined datacentre systems, and leading software defined networking systems;
• Knowledge and experience troubleshooting integrations with BMC tools as well as third-party systems;
• Experience working on MS Linux and MS Windows servers;
• Understanding of ICT infrastructure solutions and underlying technology including, but not limited to, networking solutions, hypervisor solutions, storage solutions and load balancing solutions;
• Working well as part of a dynamic and multi-national team;
• Being able to participate in and support meetings with various levels of stakeholders;
• Ability to work independently and manage.

Desirable:

• BMC Certified Professional – Orchestration;
• Experience configuring or administering BMC Remedy ITSM (especially the CMDB) or BMC TrueSight Operations Management.

Duties/role:

• Implementing a TrueSight Orchestration system(s) based on agreed technical requirements, and in accordance with the provided design and architecture;
• Facilitating the application and system security accreditation;
• Providing support to the Technical Lead in ensuring technical coherence across multiple project streams;
• Developing detailed Build and Configuration documentation of the TrueSight Orchestration deployments and providing support in the development of Testing and Training materials;
• Providing support in the testing phases of the delivery, including but not limited to, Functional Acceptance and User Acceptance Testing events;
• Providing support in both the preparation and during the transition to operations of newly deployed TrueSight Orchestration systems, including handover activities to the relevant operations team.
