Our client is a scale-up and niche player in the field of artificial intelligence on time series data.

Your Role as CTO

  • You lead a team of software engineers responsible for the design, development and maintenance of a high quality SaaS platform.
  • You develop and implement best practices for software development and maintenance.
  • You develop workable procedures for security, reliability and performance. You ensure openness to discuss problems and you implement a continuous improvement approach.
  • You work closely together in cross-functional teams (product management, design management...) to prioritize customer needs.
  • You are in charge for the integration and scalability of the SaaS platform.
  • You oversee the project planning and ensure that projects can be delivered on time.
  • You identify technical issues and provide feasible solutions.
  • You coach your team and you help them grow as individuals and as a team.
  • You are part of the management team and report to the CEO.

Your Profile as CTO

  • You have a Master’s degree in computer science, Computing Engineering or another relevant field.
  • You have at least 5 years of experiencein building, managing, and coaching software development teams.
  • Proven experience in making strategic software architecture decisions based on business requirements, preferably in a high growth and agile environment.
  • Experience with designing REST APIs and deployment in a containerized environment
  • Experience with major cloud and data platforms (Azure, AWS, Databricks)
  • Hands-on experience with software development in an object-oriented programming language (Python, C#, Java).
  • Knowledge of major machine learning algorithms and tools
  • Familiar with best practices in security and compliance. Experience with security certification is a plus.
