Citymesh NV, a leader in B2B connectivity solutions and the European leader in Mobile Private Networks (MPN), is searching for a Core Engineer. As a Core Engineer for MPN Networks, you will be specifically involved in working with the core technologies and infrastructures of 4G and 5G private or hybrid networks. Your role will focus on developing, optimizing, and maintaining core network solutions and features to ensure seamless and secure operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design, integration, and deployment of private and hybrid core network solutions.
  • Support the evaluation and implementation of new technologies to enhance network capabilities.
  • Monitor and maintain core network components to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop implementation strategies.
  • Conduct performance analysis, automated testing, and troubleshooting throughout the life cycles of our core network solutions to ensure operability and efficiency.
Job requirements

Must Have Qualities & Talents
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Knowledge of EPC (Evolved Packet Core) and/or 5G Core technologies and corresponding signaling flows.
  • Knowledge on native voice (IMS)
  • Familiarity with RAN technologies (LTE, 5GNR) and the interplay between RAN and core.
  • Proactive attitude with effective communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge of network security principles and practices.
  • Knowledge on Mission Critical enabled services (MCx) on top of mobile private networks
  • Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
