Our client is a global measurement and data analytics company. They provide FMCG companies and retailers with accurate, actionable information and insights and a complete picture of the complex and changing marketplace that companies need to innovate and grow.

They are present in 90 countries, covering more than 90% of the world’s population.

Today, for their offices located in Brussels ( Woluwe), our client is looking to recruit a :

Client Development Manager
Food retailer
You will be responsible for managing the relationship, client objectives, growth strategy and engagement plan for a key Retailer client. You will be in charge of the full sales cycle: pulling together compelling sales presentations, proposals and negotiating contracts.

You will act as the main point of contact for this client, dealing with day-to-day queries through to strategic account planning and development, as well as establishing a network of contacts across your client organization.

To be efficient in this role, you will need to be comfortable influencing senior external stakeholders, have strong sales skills, a track record of using data and tools to drive business growth and be comfortable with owning your own diary.

Responsibilities :
  • Achieving targets, based on executing contractually agreed revenue and generating new business across your client base;
  • Developing a full understanding of the value proposition in order to identify opportunities within your client base;
  • Frequently contacting your client to understand their service requirements and identify potential areas where you can further support their business objectives ;
  • Providing support, guidance, training for your client to ensure a good level of knowledge of your added value across all departments;
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of thedigital content industry(competitors, trends in the market etc) and the evolving business terrain that your clients are part of.

Your profile :
  • Bachelor or University degree in Business Administration or Marketing or Communication
  • Affinity for e-business & e-commerce or the FMCG sector
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in key account management, including experience of pipeline management
  • An ability to present at Executive Level and below
  • Experience of Product Information Management (PIM) systems and Master Data Management (MDM) systems preferred.
  • Organized and able to apply good time management
  • French & Dutch, business level of English
