Skills, knowledge, experience required:
  • Ability to execute Change Management on a set of large, complex and interconnected networks in a highly secured environment;
  • Demonstrate experience of autonomously performing change management in environments with more than 2.000 users and 3.000 end user devices;
  • Excellent knowledge of Change Management Module in BMC Remedy and ability to handle different classes of change types in the toolset;
  • Excellent knowledge of ITIL V3 Change Management Process or ITIL V4 Change Enablement;
  • Drafting minutes, reports and statistics;
  • Open personality able to make contact at all levels in the organization;
  • Highly structured and organized.
Desirable:
  • Experience working in an international and multicultural environment.
Duties/role:
  • Managing day-to-day IT change management activities for NATO HQ in CSU Brussels;
  • Reviewing incoming Request for Change (RfC) Tickets;
  • Querying and collecting missing RfC information;
  • Communicating with change coordinators on open changes during RfC lifecycle;
  • Following up changes in progress and reporting in daily NETOPS meetings;
  • Updating the RfC tickets accordingly in the toolset;
  • Coordinating with the Enterprise Approved Service Interruption (ASI) Team on ASIs affecting NATO HQ;
  • Preparing the co-chaired weekly NHQ CIS CAB;
  • Preparing individual changes for the CAB;
  • Preparing CAB documentation set;
  • Co-chairing the CAB with Head of the CSU;
  • Presenting the changes during the CAB;
  • Creating and distributing the meeting minutes of the CAB;
  • Preparing info and statistics for weekly status meeting;
  • Liaising with other Change Managers in the Enterprise to coordinate change approvals.
