With around 75 team members, our growing Brussels’ office is focused on the delivery of integrated European Affairs and Communications support to its clients across a broad range of sectors.

As part of its strategic growth plans, we have opportunities for consultants to join our Food & Agriculture practice to manage existing client accounts, and to lead the growth and development of new business, whilst being part of the development of a motivated team.

In general, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and developing a portfolio of clients in the Agri/Food sector.

  • Leading client programmes that integrate a full range of public affairs and communications strategies both in Brussels and across the group on pan-European projects.

  • Creating and developing innovative client service offerings, with a particular focus on using communications tools to further clients’ objectives.

  • Supporting new business proposals and pitches, and leading support teams.

  • Actively engaging with colleagues across the group to develop and implement marketing strategies within the sector

  • Contribute to the professional development and coaching of junior colleagues.

Skills & Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • In the region of 5 to 8 years’ experience of public affairs developed within an EU context.

  • Evidence of delivering effective and innovative communications campaigns to support public affairs activities.

  • Experience gained within a EU Public Affairs consultancy, a Corporate, Trade Association or EU Institution is essential.

  • A strong presence in the Agri Food sector in Brussels.

  • A significant network of EU and national policy makers and stakeholders in the sector.

  • Sound commercial acumen and ability to identify a business opportunity

  • A collaborative and caring approach to working with colleagues in Brussels and across the Group.

  • An inquisitive nature with a desire for learning and innovative practices.

  • A high level of motivation and drive for excellence.
