• Analyze each month all distribution and R&D costs, review the difference(s) vs Budget and Last Year;
• Super User for SCM & Distribution Reporting/BI;
• Business case studies for R&D initiatives (gate reviews, etc.);
• Set up a process with time registration for the R&D team that would enable us to have sufficient documentation in accordance with IFRS to capitalize Development costs given that they generate a future inflow of revenue;
• Design/Support Setup of this Project Accounting functionality/module in ERP;
• Provide each month a clearly view off both costs to the Finance team and the Executive Leaders;
• Develop and maintain collaborative and trustful relationship with all budget owners and Executive Leaders;
• Plan monthly meetings with budget owners in order to discuss & analyze the figures;
• Be involved in the yearly budget process;
• Help budget’s owners to monitor and reduce their costs;
• Work in close collaboration with the indirect and direct procurement team and accounting team to make sure costs are recorded with correct classification and in the correct period;
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to implement or improve any policies or processes related to the indirect costs accounting, monitoring and reporting;
• Support Regional Finance Managers in validation of Indirect Purchase Orders creation and approval;
• Support annual external audit activities;
• Collaborate with other finance team members when required to review financial information and budgets.
  

• Master’s degree in business, accounting, finance, economics or related field; minimum of 5 years or more preferably in a manufacturing environment;
• Knowledge of certain principles key to IFRS regarding R&D capex, Revenue Recognition, supply chain and impact of incoterms on valuation of inventory;
• Business acumen / end-2-end process understanding for logistics processes, warehousing, shipping,….;
• Requires occasional travel to US/Canada and Asia;
• Ability to work in fast paced environment; needs to be able to multi-task with proven follow-through and adherence to changing priorities and deadlines;
• Action oriented; needs to be able to follow up on feedback to ensure positive outcomes;
• Able to manage internal client relationship & team player;
• Able to thrive in hands-on changing environment;
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. English is a must;
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases and financial software applications;
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word;
• Having worked in power BI is a strong plus as the follow up of Distribution costs will be in power BI.
