Do you want to work for an American multinational corporation that is engaged in the design, development, manufacturing, and worldwide marketing in Belgium?
Join the team as Data Engineer in charge of building a data processing product (data pipelines).

As Technical Ambassador / Data Engineer, you represent the team and mentor and develop other data engineers in best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design and create scalable reusable Data processing and ETL solutions
  • Automate data extraction, transformation and provisioning
  • Testing activities
  • Troubleshoot complex data issues
  • Establish standards and best practices with the data community

Skills

  • Last 3 years in data engineering (Python is a must)
  • 3 years PySpark experience
  • SQL (Hive) & No-SQL (Dynamo BD)
  • Experience with data lakes and unstructured data
  • Experience with Cloud tools (AWS)
  • Knowledge of API & microservices in Python
  • Github knowledge
  • Testing experience

Soft skills

  • Good communication in English
  • Proactive
  • Able to influence and interface with other teams and stakeholders
  • Experience with working in a multicultural environment

Contract length: 6 months
