Your Impact

Then our Young Professional program at Ordina might be the perfect place for you to start a challenging and exciting career in data!

Where you’re going to get started

As a Young Professional you will go through an intensive 10-week training. With guidance of your personal coach, you will put your newly-acquired skills into practice and prepare for your first assignment at the customer, preferably as part of an Ordina team. The program will cover basic and advanced sessions to enable working in most data platform environments, and help you obtain your first certificates. You will start working on your first client assignment at one of our customers as soon as you complete the training.

Your Responsibilities
  • You will learn software development and participate in an Agile environment, using the Scrum principles.
  • You will be learning how to gather requirements from various stakeholders.
  • In time you will become an experienced designer of data solutions.
  • Data modeling will have no more secrets for you anymore.
  • You will start building, implementing and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
  • You will become Cloud Certified (Azure, AWS, google,…)
  • You will have to become proficient in querying databases through SQL.
  • You will need to learn how to program in Python.
  • You can rely on the support of senior colleagues at all times.

This is you

You like to solve complex (data) problems and theorems and are solution and result oriented.

Fascinated by new trends and best practices, you make a point of working carefully and independently.

Your Technical Background
  • a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in an IT related field
  • a desire to strengthen your knowledge in a variety of a data related fields
  • interest in data cloud platforms
  • a strong interest in Azure, SQL, Python and AWS, among others
  • fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus
