As a Data Science Intern you will have the opportunity to create advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions to better address our consumers’ needs while streamlining our processes and approaching the business in more innovative ways.

About The Job
  • You’ll review work with the project lead on an ongoing basis
  • You’ll analyze current research and/or industry state-of-the art initiatives applicable to your problem
  • You’ll identify and quantify the potential benefit of modelling initiatives
  • You’ll build documentation for project description and code development
  • You’ll follow ways of working and best practices designed for the data science team
About You
  • You hold a Degree (or still studying) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Statistics or related studies (PhD students are welcome)
  • You have a strong knowledge of how to address machine learning problems or you are willing to learn
  • You have advanced skills or experience with Python programming language
  • You’re comfortable with the use of Pandas, Dask or PySpark Dataframes for data discovery and model preparation
  • You understand one or more Python data science libraries e.g. Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras
  • You are fluent in English and have good communication skills.
  • Git code versioning experience is an asset.
Start date: Flexible and for a minimum of 6 months or 12 months.
