ARHS Developments is looking for a skilled Data Warehouse & Reporting Developer for the EU institutions.

You will join the team responsible for the development & maintenance of the data warehouses built for reporting to the business managers.

As a data team member, you will be collaborating in the design of ETL processes, assisting in the DB design and implementation, contributing to the Business Intelligence dashboards (mainly in the back end, but also contributing to the work of project officers with their Power BI/Qlik dashboards), developing and maintaining ETL processes, and automatising data-related tasks.

This challenging post requires the ability to work in a team and the attention to details, but also opens the possibility to develop new ideas in the management of data.

Role & Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance on Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW).
• Gathering business requirements.
• Designing ETL processes.
• Data modelling.
• Design and development of reporting applications.
• Advice on Physical DB design.
• Design of Data Quality and Health Monitoring processes.
• Elaboration of test programs.
• Writing of technical documentation.
• Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system.
• Participation in meetings with other project teams.

Your profile

• University degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Good written and oral communication skills in English
• Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment
• Rapid self-starting capability
• Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects.
• High degree of discretion and integrity is required as the applications managed and maintained, contain personal and sensitive data.

Technical skills

• At least 6 years of specific expertise in SQL
• At least 3 years of specific expertise in Data Warehouses
• Experience with automation & scripting tools (Python, SQL*plus, bash, Java…)

Certification

• Any database, data warehouse, business intelligence or data science certification will be considered an advantage.
