TheE-commerce Operations Manager will be responsible for the daily operations of the e-commerce supply chain. He or she will ensure alignment and collaboration across all areas of the Delhaize E-commerce Operations (Home Delivery & Collect operations, pick-up and transport operations, darkstore operations, ordering & replenishment) to ensure delivery of the Customer Experience, Cost and Growth KPIs. Besides the coordination of the different aspects of the E2E E-commerce operations, the E-commerce operations manager act as the main partner for the Darkstore 3PL.

  • Coordination of E-commerce operations: Coordinate E-commerce operations as a central function working in parallel with Ordering & Replenishment, Last Mile and commercial teams to drive alignment and deliver optimal performance in Customer Experience, Cost, and Growth.
  • Partner Management – 3PL Fulfilment: Act as the primary operational liaison with the 3PL partner to ensure seamless warehouse operations and continuous improvement.
  • Project Management & Continuous Improvement: Lead and support projects to structurally improve e-commerce operations through innovation and process optimization.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence.

Wie ben jij

  • You have a master degree (Economy, Management, Sciences,…).
  • You have a minimum 5 years proven operational management experience.
  • A previous experience in change management or business transformation is a must.
  • An experience in retail or a logistics environment is a plus.
  • You are a strong and empathic communicator.
  • You have advanced Microsoft Excel skills and you are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio,…
  • You have strong analytical, project and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements.
  • You have the ability to set-up, facilitate and lead sessions with a range of business stakeholders from shop floor collaborators until higher level management.
  • You are structured and skilled in planning and priority management.
  • You are a team player.
  • You are fluent in English/NL/FR.
