E&I Automation Engineer - Renewable Energy - Antwerp - 12-Month Contract

Do you want to work with a world leader in material technology? This opportunity is currently available to a E&I Automation Engineer to support our clients growing portfolio of projects globally across material science, chemistry and metallurgy.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for technical design of E&I and Automation within larger industrial projects.
Translates the customer needs into the scope for the technical project.
Creates specifications / specifications for the executors.
Designs the architecture.
Makes the preliminary designs.
Shares responsibility for selecting executors and assigning tasks.

Manages external resources:
From detailed design to realisation of the projects.
Answers questions as the project progresses.
Monitors the quality of the work delivered.
Monitors the planning and reports deviations.
Works cost-consciously.
Stays in contact with the customer throughout the project to capture and assess changes. And, if approved by the
project manager, to be implemented in the project.
Checks whether the work delivered meets the standard.
Checks the final deliveries and reporting.
Archives and maintains an as-built technical construction file.
Participates in guiding the start-up of production.

Requirements:
Technical expertise in Automation
Technical expertise in Electricity and Instrumentation
At least 5 years of experience with projects in an industrial process environment - Experience levels and years of experience5+ years of experience with projects in an industrial environment.

5+ years of technical expertise in:
Electricity and instrumentation
Automation
Team player and good communicator (colleagues, customer, suppliers, etc.).
Language skills: Dutch and English
