Job description:

Implementation of updates and patches on infrastructure (Data Warehouse) services assets (HW and SW).
Patch identification, patch validation (Testing according to contractor’s defined test plans), patch implementation.
Participation to meetings (Change Management, Control Boards, etc.).
Updates of CIs in contractors’ CMDB.

Standard requirements:

VMWare Servers: ESxi, VCenter
VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) is required.
Active NATO Clearance is required.
A minimum of 4 years experience as a VMware engineer.
Knowledge of ITIL processes.
Loadbalancers: Riverbed Stingray, Secure.
HW: HPE and Dell Servers.
Tools: Updates distribution systems (SCCM/MECM,WSUS, Ansible, iLO Amplifier, Oracle Linux Manager, Trellix ePolicy orchestrator).
Expert knowledge of best practice VMware deployment techniques.
Extensive knowledge of the fundamentals of VMware ESX and related technologies
