Senior Finance Analyst, S&D/E2E Pillar Lead – DePuy Synthes SC

DePuy Synthes Supply Chain (DPS SC), a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Lead (L26) in the Global DePuy Synthes FP&A team. This role operates in a dynamic global environment, and can be located in the US, Ireland, Switzerland or Belgium.

The Finance Lead will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to the Strategy and Development (S&D) / End to End (E2E) Pillar leaders and project managers, interacting with multiple US and OUS locations.

This critical role will report to the DPS SC Senior Manager, Global DPS FP&A.

Reporting And Forecasting

Core responsibilities include:
  • Quarterly reporting of global pillar spend and headcount to the PMO transformation Director and his leadership team, together with analysis and commentary
  • Support CAR preparation focusing on project spend (Capex and Opex) and project savings
  • Consolidate monthly project spend and lead the monthly results overview with the PMO leadership team, focusing on Capex and Opex project spend
  • Collaborate closely with finance teams across the sites to ensure accurate reporting of actual and forecast spend and headcount on TM1
  • Lead all major financial cycles (PBP, FBP, Quarterly Financial Updates, LRFP) for the S&D/E2E pillars, with a focus on both spend and project savings
  • Lead forecast reviews with the leadership team, and support the Transformation Director at forecast reviews with the DPS Supply Chain leadership team.
  • Support ad hoc projects and requests as required

Business Partnering
  • Finance business partner to the global S&D/E2E organization, providing financial leadership and governance to manage global projects (spend and savings) and in relation to departmental spend and headcount
  • Collaborate with other functional areas in relation to actuals and forecasts eg IT, Network, Compliance, MDR
  • Build strong partnerships with the global Finance community driving consistent reporting and standardization
  • Provide guidance and leadership to finance analyst supporting this area

Essential

Qualifications
  • University/Bachelors’ Degree or Equivalent in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Certifications in CPA, ACCA etc preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant multi-national experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong financial analysis skills and the ability to quickly adapt to use of new systems and tools
  • Strong Excel skills

Desirable
  • Supply chain finance experience in Medical device or Pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience with SAP, JDE, TM1 and Analytics/Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau etc.)
