One of the big players in the logistics sector and based in Antwerp, is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager who can lead and manage the company’s financial planning and reporting processes. Your main task is to help the organization to be a financial success in line with the business goals.

Key responsibilities as Finance Manager:

  • Financial planning & analysis
  • Risk Management
  • Responsible for the month-end, quarterly and year end closing;
  • Supervise a team of 7 people
  • Finetuning and follow-up of solid financial reporting processes
  • Management of new investment budgets
  • Key contact for external audit
  • Oversee the weekly & monthly financial reporting, client profitability analysis, KPI & dashboard follow-up, budget proposal reviews

The ideal candidate for the role as Finance Manager:

  • Master’s degree in economics or finance
  • Experience in a similar organisation/function
  • Solid knowledge of internal and external software packages
  • Supervise and diagnose the existing systems and have the ability to solve IT and telecommunication problems
  • Hands-on approach with a strong drive for improvement
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Outstanding communicator in Dutch and English
  • Ability to prioritise and organise your own work and the work of others
  • Deadline oriented
