Dark Light is a staffing agency specializing in the recruitment and outsourcing of data and business intelligence profiles. We are currently seeking a Data Analyst for one of our clients, a telecom giant in Antwerp.Tasks
  • Identify and prioritize business data use cases: Collaborate with business leaders to pinpoint and prioritize challenges that can be addressed through data and analytics.
  • Serve as a bridge between technical and business teams, translating requirements into functional specifications while ensuring essential data analysis features are integrated.
  • Transform source data and business requirements into conceptual and logical data models that are both suitable for current use and adaptable for the future.
  • Be a data Champion by ensuring proper implementation of data quality measures and governance practices.
  • Conduct testing, documentation, communication, and education initiatives for business stakeholders regarding new data capabilities and assets. Illustrate how these resources can facilitate problem-solving through data analytics.
  • Provide support to your business colleagues in increasing their self-service capabilities for gaining insights.
Requirements
  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Business Engineering, Applied Economics, Computer Sciences, Information Management, or equivalent experience.
  • +2 years of hands-on experience in roles related to data analysis, business insights, business intelligence, or similar positions.
  • Ability to bridge different data requirements and business processes, translating them into durable data solutions.
  • Proficiency in using SQL, MS Excel, Qlik Sense, or similar tools.
  • Relevant experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, and data modeling.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to influence decision-makers.
  • Flexible, collaborative, and results-oriented mindset, with enthusiasm for working in a dynamic and evolving environment. Willingness to navigate potential technical or organizational obstacles.
  • Fluent in both English and Dutch or French languages.
  • Experience in an agile environment is a plus
  • Experience in telecom is a plus
