We are looking for a Full Stack Developer specialized in Angular / Symfony / PHP to join the project team of a European Institution.

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

Following tasks will be performed by the selected candidate:

  • Implement backend features pertaining to the interface between HOPE and corporate systems (ABAC / SUMMA) using web services
  • Develop front-end website features
  • Design user interactions on web pages
  • Develop back-end website features
  • Implement unit tests related to front-end and back-end features
  • Contribute to the definition of integration and system tests
  • Contribute to the definition of system requirements
  • Write technical documentation
  • Implement core business logic
  • Understand and implement security and data protection measures
  • Design the application for responsiveness
  • Design and develop APIs between modules or to external IT systems
  • Analyse data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
  • Carry out testing and implement bug fixes

Job requirements

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:

  • Proficiency with web services (SOAP)
  • Proficiency with front-end languages such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Good knowledge of JavaScript frameworks and libraries, such as Angular and Bootstrap
  • Proficiency with back-end languages and frameworks such as PHP, Spring boot and Hibernate
  • Familiarity with database technology such as Oracle, MongoDB
  • Knowledge of Git is very important

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE

Following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:

  • Knowledge of and experience with implementing web services is essential
  • Excellent knowledge of Angular, in particular in its most recent versions, is essential, with a minimum experience of four years with this technology
  • Very good knowledge of the technology stack used in the project (Angular/Symfony/PHP) is very important, with at least three years of experience with PHP and/or Symfony, in addition to the experience with Angular
  • Very good knowledge of Git is essential, with a minimum of three years of experience
  • Experience with eUI is a definite asset
  • Experience with CI/CD is an asset
