Description:

We are looking for a motivated IT Functional Analyst to join forces. As a Functional Analyst you bridge business requirements to IT solutions, continuously aligning the interests of all project stakeholders. You are responsible to create functional designs for Non Life Insurance mobility projects . In collaboration with business and IT colleagues, you design the appropriate functional setup for a set of Non Life Insurance projects. For every case you will look for the most optimal choice, while ensuring you adhere to the business requirements.
The last years KBC has proven to be the reference in digital transformation by introducing KBC Mobile and Kate as our personal assistant. This way KBC can stay the reference as the number one bank-insurer on the Belgian home market. To unlock the true potential of data and Kate at insurance we started an ambitious transformation program. This program encompasses business projects to ensure our growth ambition and efficiency targets but also tackles a fundamental change to the infrastructure and data environment. The legacy systems and data environment will be brought to the next level, while staying on top of our business. We are looking for a functional analyst to join this transformation program, in particular to strengthen the mobility team within non life insurance. As a functional analyst you will translate the business requirements into functional analysis and also assist the business analists in their feasibility studies. We do all this with agility (Scaled Agile Framework – SAFe) from beginning to end.
Responsibilities:

Translate business requirements into a fit-for-purpose IT solution. Create functional designs where you map out possible solutions taking into account scope, budget, time-tomarket and ability-to-execute within our IT landscape. Align with the team members (technical designers, developers, proces- and application management) on the solution.
Qualifications:

Relevant experience as a functional analyst within an IT environment. Relevant experience in Non Life Insurance, knowledge of the mobility domain (car) is an advantage. Strong communicator (English and preferably Dutch). Help to set the rights priorities while working on multiple projects. Interested in data science and big data solution. SAFE/Agile mindset.
