Position

As a Functional Analyst, you will be part of the Software Product team, which focuses on the development, improvement, and expansion of our software solutions. Together with your colleagues, you will help enhance existing products and shape new functionalities—always in close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

You are responsible for analyzing and documenting the functional requirements of our software. You act as a key link between customer needs and technical implementation, providing structured input to development, QA, business analysis, and sales teams.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Mapping out current and desired software functionalities.
  • Gathering, analyzing, and structuring feedback from users, clients, and internal teams.
  • Translating customer needs and product plans into clear, actionable feature requests.
  • Drafting functional specifications, including protocol definitions, state diagrams, sequence diagrams, and user flows.
  • Collaborating closely with the software product lead on the planning and follow-up of the product roadmap.
  • Providing product demonstrations to both internal teams and external customers (mostly online).

Your profile

We’re looking for an analytical and structured thinker with experience in software analysis or functional design. You’re capable of converting abstract ideas and customer input into clear, useful specifications for development teams.

You bring:

  • Experience in analyzing software requirements or working within software architecture and development.
  • A solid understanding of how customer needs translate into functional and technical product features.
  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
  • A structured, results-oriented approach to work.
  • The ability to set priorities and independently manage your tasks.
  • A collaborative attitude, with attention to detail and critical thinking.
