PURPOSE & SCOPE
This role is all about helping Le Pain Quotidien make the transition into a digital, consumer lead and global brand franchise support future. As a global transformation manager, you are largely responsible for recognizing areas for improvement within the company, a Business Transformation Manager must identify and implement necessary changes to enable a business to perform to its optimal ability.

HOW YOU CAN HELP?
o You are steering 3 core transformation programs: digital transformation, marketing delivery transformation and product innovation transformation. This role sits right in the middle between our IT, marketing and food and beverage departments.
– You are responsible for the digital transformation bringing e-commerce, cloud-based POS systems, tailored loyalty and CRM solutions to our company owned markets and global franchisees. You work closely with our digital agency partners, our ops deployment manager and our IT and systems management support.

– You are the ultimate owner of our product innovation funnel. You combine a consumer lead marketing point of view with in-depth food service industry knowledge and know-how to bring the right product to the right audience at the right time. Pricing management is not unknown to you. You have experience in coordination and project management with cross countries/ regional teams and across functional expertise groups.

– You are the first point of contact for our global brand and franchise services manager when it comes to the coordination of F&B and digital transformation projects.

o You are responsible for guiding change within the organization. As a transformation manager, you also act as a change manager. You work with people across all levels of the organisation. You provide support and coaching advice to execs and managers to help them instill change in their teams, as well as directly supporting project teams during the transition period.

OUR TEAM
The job is based in Belgium, in our Brussels HQ and reports directly into the Chief Growth officer.
We are a very small team so there will be lots of involvement across projects. You’ll work closely with our Food & Beverage teams
(and if you’re nice to them they will feed you…often and very well).

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD
  • Excellent oral and written English and Dutch or French communication skills
  • At least 5 years experience managing large transformations within a corporate context, in house or as an expert consultant.
  • Quick learner, interested in the implications of digital and business transformations on different aspects of the business: operations, supply chain, sourcing, production, marketing, finance. Experience with digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, digital marketing technologies, omnichannel
  • Team player & able to collaborate with others.
  • Thorough knowledge about, and experience with project management methodologies and process management. (Scrum/Agile) with hands-on experience in web project management. Certification is an asset
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Passionate about change and eager to push it forward while managing expectations
  • A natural communicator, able to explain complex topics in understandable language to different stakeholders (ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders)
