ECDPM is a leading independent think tank that wants to make policies in Europe and Africa work for inclusive and sustainable development.We have two offices: in Maastricht (the Netherlands) and Brussels (Belgium) .
Our more than 60 staff members from over 25 countries worldwide provide independent research, advice and practical support to policymakers, advisors and practitioners in Europe, Africa and beyond. Our focus is on EU foreign policy and policies related to conflict, migration, governance, climate and green transformation, sustainable food systems, regional integration, digitalisation, business, finance and trade.
About the human resources team
Our human resources team currently consists of a human resources advisor and the head of human resources. They are based at the head office in Maastricht and work from the Brussels office one day a week every one or two weeks.
We have 24 staff members on a Belgian employment contract or a split salary contract (a partly Belgian, partly Dutch contract). Our Belgian salary administration is processed by an external partner, but the human resources team manages the mutations and everything regarding the human resources administration.
Description de la fonction
As a human resources administrator working from our Brussels office, you will:
Be the first line support for our Brussels-based staff and management on anything related to our human resources administration, including leave days, salary, pension and other benefits and employment conditions.
Monitor compliance with and update human resources policies and guidelines.
Providing advice on day-to-day human resources matters in accordance with Belgian employment, social security and tax law.
Description du profil
Our ideal candidate:
Has a bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
Has at least 2-4 years of professional experience in a general human resources role in an international environment, preferably in a non-commercial organisation.
Is fluent in Dutch and English, and ideally has language skills in French.
Is a team player who can also work independently.
Has good knowledge of Belgian employment, social security, tax and other relevant legislation and is eager to keep that knowledge up to date.
