Your mission and day to day tasks
  • You will be part of the dry coating team with a strong technical focus on AGC’s vacuum (established and new) processes such as magnetron PVD, plasma enhanced CVD and ion implantation
  • You will receive on the job training from the very start
  • Your mission will translate as follows in day to day activities
o Technical management of pilot coaters: maintenance, upgrade, digitalisation
o Development / adaptation / improvement of pilots, existing or new processes in collaboration with researchers
o Networking with other (external) research centres already expert in those technologies
o Special missions supporting our engineering team (AGC Plasma) specialized in selling coaters using such technologies for coating deposition on various types of materials

Your scientific profile
  • Electric, (electro) mechanical industrial engineer
  • Strong affinity for process
  • Vacuum technologies, PVD,CVD, PECVD, plasma knowledge are assets – not mandatory
Ability to demonstrate a certain level of maturity and technical expertise in mechanical, electric, electronic and automation backgrounds is a definite plus
Ability to use CAD design software is an asset

You are an allrounder and recognize yourself in the following:
  • Willingness to work in a team, in interaction with different stakeholders in research and factories
  • Ability to progress with a min of supervision
  • Multitasker, curious with a bias for action, perseverant and autonomous,
  • Troubleshooter, problem solver with analytical skills
  • Knowledge of English is required
  • Knowledge of French is an asset
