Cyber Security Triage Analyst monitors the security of our internal systems

Our Cyber Security Triage Analysts inspects alerts coming from our SIEM solution and evaluates whether further investigation is necessary. Passion for the Cyber field is necessary.

We can offer a very professional communicative team and a challenging environment. Also knowledge of input systems to the SIEM are relevant; EDR, Network/Telco, AD, workstation OS... Possibility to be in an on-call system group optionally after training and experience of our environment is mature. Fluent English or Dutch required

Monitor, prioritize, triage and if needed escalate alerts generated by our security systems
  • Find the root cause of security alerts based on extra contextual information like server logfiles, knowledge about attack methods, attackers, threats, ...
  • Help security architects and analysts to continuously improve our security monitoring solutions
  • Help in testing and fine-tuning of the security alerts and incident response procedures
  • Report to management and system managers about security incidents, counter and/or preventive measures in a clear and understandable language
  • Improve processes to prevent problems and avoid risk
Functional
  • You have a keen eye for cyber security risks, how to recognize them and how to prevent them
  • You follow up on trends on IT systems, specifically related to security issues
  • You are a good communicator, mostly written
  • You have good analytical skill to help analyze security events and incidents
  • You are a team player
  • You are occasionally on call when an alert goes off and you get called by our automatic phone system
  • Security comes first and your motto is : ’Security is everybody’s job!’.
