Ensure technical mold developments for P1 projects according to QCD.
  • To secure plastic parts and develop injection tools according to the specifications in order to meet the requirement of quality, cost and delivery time for local and global projects (worldwide coordination of mold concept).
  • To participate in project RFQ “business win” for moulds topics.
  • To capitalize improvements in plastic materials, part/mold designs and injection processes resulting in measurable improvement of quality, costs and delivery.
  • To participate in project RFQ to be awarded: orient RFQ on mold and injection process topics to be awarded in best industrial conditions.
  • To support and guide the mechanical engineers in defining the plastic components design (RFQ, REQF, DESF, TOGO). To check the design of injected plastic components in regards to the injection process and the tooling manufacturability.
  • To analyse the MOLDFLOW simulations to orient the design optimization, the mould specifications and the injection process parameters.
  • To respect Valeo internal standards: standard methodology for development including documentations, Standard for Valeo Requirement Files, standards components for Moulds, Design Rules, process Rules...
  • To define the mould VRF (Valeo Requirement File) and mold specificities (SVRF) for moulds supplier insourcing (SOCO), in coordination with the Tooling Purchasing Engineer, R&D, Project team & Valeo plants.
  • To validate the mould tooling design made by the mould supplier with the participation of valeo plants & metiers.
  • To ensure Steel order, Machining order. (SOCO -> TOGO)
  • To support the Quality & Project team in the analysis of the injected parts for each trial.
  • To support the technical corrective actions until completion linked to part analysis.
  • To ensure technical status for mold building & tuning through trials, reports, documentations and mould dismounting by mould supplier before transfer. (OFTO -> mold transfer)
  • To ensure technical status of injection process & tuning through trials, reports, documentations by mould supplier before transfer. (OFTO -> mold transfer)
  • To support Valeo plant technical team during fine tuning of mold and injection process up to validation (OTOP -> SOP)
  • To validate Product/Process objectives linked to mould development (cycle time, scrap...) are achieved and pass Process Audit and Initial Samples milestones (Master/Golden samples and related process documentation).
  • To secure ramp-up FDPR and SOP
  • To Respect the project planning, the budget and technical deliverables related to mold developments.
  • To ensure the capitalization, the standardization of the best practices in the RO and at PG level. To contribute to the improvement plan & monitoring technology of the metier.
  • To make the reporting to his hierarchy (status , performance, KPI, effectiveness and efficiency... ) and propose the associated action plans.
  • To contribute to all the Quality standards to guarantee to the Customers, products and services conformity
  • To respect all standards in regards to the environment and risk prevention management. Apply in his field safety procedure and have a role model in safety rules application.
  • Other responsibilities according to competences, professional experience and business needs - prior agreed between employee and N+1.
