Job Description

Renson is growing rapidly to an international company. To enable this growth, a digital transformation program (Sunrise) has been conceived and is in full implementation. It consists of transitioning from home grown applications on AS400 to SAP and state of art applications, as well as develop own software for key differentiating area’s.

The new environment is mostly base on the Azure cloud as well as the SAP stack. Devops practices have been put in place and a CI/CD- first approach has been set up. Our ideology is to use as little as possible IaaS components and as much as possible PaaS services.

The integration of these system across the different platforms is key and require a well-conceived architectural approach. The integrations are also extended to vendors and customers and even end-user simulator tools.

At Renson we believe architects should have a hands-on attitude, drawing schematics is part of the job but you will be required to follow through: your decisions have an impact and you are responsible for seeing them through with the different development teams

The technology stack you can leverage is c#, azure (including Azure Service Bus and logic apps, functions), powershell, python, SAP PI/PO.

Your focus is to understand the business domains and technology enough to know what to give to analysts and what to prepare yourself for dev implementation (or vice versa). We allow for choice in focus (technical or domain) but in the end the integration has to be done. For all projects you report to the CIO and the enterprise architect but will maintain a high degree of autonomy in your projects.

Profile
  • Key knowledge of integration of system and applications as well as architectural practices and release strategies. Added values:
    • Knowledge of azure
    • Knowledge of either SAP or Dynamics AX
    • An understanding of concepts such as BOM, BOL, orders, invoice, … and the different levels of these concepts
