Your new job

You are responsible for the integration studies of complex systems onboard ships. You do the follow-up and organization of ongoing works on-site, until the commissioning by the client. The coordination of subcontractor teams and verification of the proper work execution is also your tasks. You control the stages of work advancement and the transmission of information to the manager with the anticipation of needs. You are the contact person to the client and his technical teams and manage the technical handling of new equipment by them. You are mobile and ready to travel frequently in Belgium and abroad for periods ranging from a few weeks to several months.

What do we expect from you?

Hays Engineering is looking for a bachelor’s degree in electromechanics or in construction, a master’s degree in engineering, or a degree in naval architecture. You have had your first experience as project manager on location. You are familiar with 2D and 3D naval design. You are able to travel frequently in Belgium and abroad. You are fluent in technical English and speak Dutch or French.
