  • Student in Office management or Information Systems.
  • Organized mind.
  • Knowledge on Microsoft apps: power apps, teams, access, One Note, Share point, TEAMS, planner as well as excel, powerpoint, word.
  • Flexible team player and personality able to work in an independent way.
  • Fluent in English
Place of employment: Toyota European R&D centre in Zaventem (Belgium)

Starting date: From September ’22

Duration: 6 months

Confidentiality: Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

Team/division Description

Your team and your responsibilities

The Technical Affairs Planning Division (TAP) is part of the Research and Development group at Toyota Motor Europe Technical Center in Zaventem, Belgium. TAP consists of 14 engineers working in two groups, the Safety Research & Technical Affairs and the Regulation team. The Safety Research group deals with future safety requirements, mainly related to Euro NCAP and the Regulation team with future regulations in all fields ranging from safety, chemicals, emissions and new topics such as automated driving and cybersecurity.

The goal of our groups is to feed information to the development divisions and product planners who can then ensure that future requirements can be implemented

Your project

During the activities in which our groups are involved, a lot of information and technical data is shared (eg. analysis data of accidents, operating procedures, official reports, meeting notes…) At present, to handle, store and share this data, TAP department works with several commercial software such as: Office 365, Sharepoint, TEAMS, as well as external sharepoint sites).

Your Project Is As Follows
  • Assess current issues by grasping existing data information flow and storage system
  • Based on existing software for data management, propose and implement the best method to optimise information flow and data storage based on the communication needs of TAP department.
  • Create an operating procedure for future data handling
