Siemens Digital Industriesis looking for an enthusiastic and conceptually strong IT & Cybersecurity Engineerfor deploying, implementing and engineering of IT solutions and services (both soft- and hardware)in the framework of our Industrial Cybersecurity Services (ICS) projects for OT (Operational Technology) Security.Our customers range from pharma over chemicals, manufacturing and robotica. You’ll get in touch with concepts such as SaaS, XaaS, IIOT etc. In short, not one day will be alike!The advancing digitalization of industry also increases the risk of cyberattacks. Industrial Security is therefore an essential component of digitalization. The security needs of an industrial control system start with the main objective – plant availability – and end with the overall situation in the industrial environment, such as long discontinued systems. With Industrial Cybersecurity Services, Siemens provides the answer for cybersecurity in automation environments.Find out more about our offerings: http://siemens.com/icssWill you become our new colleague?As an IT & Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for the cybersecurity of industrial systems. In doing so, you’ll visit customers and assess their cybersecurity needs. Next to that, you’ll work on cybersecurity projects with the customers in order to implement the appropriate solution. You will be involved in theproject execution, and after sales phase of the industrial security projects. You will be actively liaising with technical teams at the customer, serve as technical point of contact during implementation and collaborate intensively with the internal delivery team.This entails the following responsibilities:
  • Guiding the customer being conform the NIS2 regulation.
  • Assessment and identification of the cybersecurity needs of the customer’s installation.
  • Proposing and implementation of cybersecurity solutions and procedures with the customer.
  • Design and implementation of OT networks, including switches, next generation firewalls and network monitoring software.
  • Setting up IDMZ zones.
  • Keeping the operating system up to date, as well as the IT security that is implemented in the existing security solutions for the customer. Your analytical and problem-solving skills allow you to be the driving force behind this.
  • Detecting network failure & analysis.
  • Acting as cybersecurity point of contact for internal colleagues, you’ll provide them with training, advise them on cybersecurity breaches and handle cybersecurity incidents.
  • Contributing to internal vulnerabilities handling and exceptions’ assessment, as well as validation and control of firewall rules.

  • You hold a master’s degree in IT, Computer Sciences or automation.
  • Preferably having worked in a similar role, but young graduates can apply as well. The training will vary accordingly.
  • You would like to put your technical knowledge into practice.
  • You are passionate about networks (hard- and software) with a particular hinge towards automation (PLC, HMI, PCS7, Networks).
  • Windows OS and WSUS, VM ESXi, antivirus, routing and next generation firewall, industrial anomaly detection have no secrets for you?
  • Having a strong affinity with Knowledge ISO27001, NIST Cybersecurity Frameworks or IEC 62433 is an asset.
  • You have a holistic approach on projects and maintain a straight helicopter view.
  • You apply an open minded, innovative and out of the box mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You speak Dutch with a good command of English. Additional languages are an asset but no hard requirement.
