A growing company active in the Transportation sector is currently looking to hire an IT Project Manager to join their offices in Brussels. Thanks to your experience in Project Management, you will be the perfect addition to the company and will be responsible for equipping, optimising, and facilitating the activities of your colleagues in the fields of station design and construction.

Your main responsibilities as the new IT Project Manager will include:

  • Determination of needs with stakeholder
  • Monitoring, coordination, and integration of the scope (drafting of action lists and progress reports, ...)
  • Management of the development team
  • Coordination between Ypto in consultation with Project Management Office Stations (PMO)
  • Control and coordination of timing and resources
  • Quality and risk control and coordination
  • Proposals in connection with the New Way of Working
  • Solution-oriented management (information and recommendations, identification of developments, ...)
  • Communication with stakeholders (reporting, initiation of corrective measures, ...)

Your profile:

  • You have a master’s degree or an engineering degree and have between 1 and 4 years of similar experience or you have a bachelor’s degree and have at least 4 years of similar experience
  • You have the necessary knowledge to manage a project and have experience in project management methodology such as PMBok (Project Management Body of Knowledge)
  • You have a good knowledge of the following areas:
    • Workforce and resource planning
    • Project Management
    • BIM
    • Project reporting
    • Work breakdown structure
  • You are a French or Dutch speaker and have a good command of the second national language. You have a functional command of English
