Job description

The analyst will be member of ICT CAPPS team as analyst. The new candidate will primarily work on the TEREX application. The TEREX platform is a system used for project tracking, financial management, and operational support. It includes modules for asset management, from budgeting, purchase orders, forecasting, maintenance, repair and administrative control. The TEREX project main object is upgrading from Navision 2009 to the latest Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. As TEREX has integrations with multiple applications, which also will be made future proof, extra analysis capacity is needed.

Your profile

Ideal candidate also has a previous experience/knowledge about ERP systems. Knowledge of Microsoft NAV/BC specifically are great, but not a must.

The analyst will be the functional link between the multiple Business units and the project team. Therefor excellent communication skills are key for this function.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or proven experience.
  • Proven experience as a Functional Analyst or in a similar role, minimal 10 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent working knowledge of English.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a collaborative mindset.
  • Knowledge of and experience with tools/systems/processes related to the role (Scrum, Azure DevOps, Use Cases, Requirement Gathering, …)

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Analyze and document current processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Design and present functional specifications, acting as a liaison between business units and development teams.
  • Participate in the full project lifecycle, from conception to implementation, ensuring seamless integration of IT solutions.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation to guarantee the functionality and usability of developed systems.
  • Provide user stories, acceptance criteria and test scenarios.
  • Clarify when needed with diagrams.
  • Write and maintain user manuals.
