About the role
Join us as an IT Support Engineer and help maintain the performance and operation of our IT systems, enabling us to deliver on our mission to use the power of the law to fight against climate change and to protect nature and the environment.
In this role you will act as a point of escalation for user issues while supporting the IT Manager and the rest of the Global IT team in the overall running of the ClientEarth’s IT systems. Acting primarily in a second-line support capacity, you will resolve issues in person, over the phone, by email, or via remote connectivity. The role is varied and requires good communication skills, time management, and multitasking. You will be working on a number of exciting projects, including delivering the Microsoft 365 stack to our offices globally.
Meet your Manager
In this role, you will be managed by Vaarun Malik, our IT Manager. Vaarun joined ClientEarth in 2021 and is based in London. Prior to joining ClientEarth Vaarun worked as Group Information & Technology Manager for Mastcraft for over 10 years.
Main Duties
- Delivering Helpdesk operations
- Administration and configuration of Microsoft Office 365, Azure Active Directory, SharePoint Online Sites and Libraries and Microsoft Teams
- Managing Mailboxes, Groups and Shared Mailboxes in Exchange 2016 and Exchange Online
- Assist the IT team with troubleshooting of IT software and hardware problems
- Setup of new staff accounts on IT systems

Role requirements
- Microsoft Certifications and ITIL Foundation (essential)
- MS-900 Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (desirable)
- Experience in an IT Support/Helpdesk/Service Desk OR equivalent industry certification
- Experience in a customer service / customer facing role
- Experience of IT Troubleshooting
- Good understanding of Microsoft On-premise and Cloud infrastructure such as Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.
- Fluent (CEFR level C2) in English
