Java Developer (m/f/d)

As a dedicated Java Developer (m/f/d) at I.R.I.S. P&T, you will add a fresh spirit and help us with the development of our newest technologies.

Position responsibilities:

  • support Technical Leads/Architects in the development of our new cloud platform for intelligent document and data recognition.
  • write quality code for new applications and features with a dynamic team and ensure the quality of the software solutions. .
  • Work with a team to ensure our product meets their standards for enterprise software applications
  • Place of Work: Aachen (Germany) or Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium)

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent
  • Practical experience with agile software methods (Scrum)
  • Practical experience as application developer with Java and Spring Boot
  • Knowledge of modern cloud technologies such as microservices, docker
  • Experience with processes, tools and methods of modern software engineering and agile development (Jira, Git, Jenkins)
  • Knowledge of noSQL / relational databases is given
  • Creativity, independent working style and curiosity about unknown topics
  • Excellent knowledge of English
