Our client designs and develops the EBP system (Electronic Control Desk) for Infrabel. These are complex real-time computer systems which are being used in the signaling-boxes to control and manage the railway infrastructure in Belgium.

They are looking for a Java Software developer to join the scrum team or a so called squad. In the squad several roles are represented. The main role will be the developer role.
What you’ll do
  • Analyze, document and implement changes in the software modules of the EBP program
    (mainly written in C and Java).
  • Create technical documentation for the software modules.
  • Execute and document the test for the software modules.
  • Main role is to implement changes / extensions in the software modules of the EBP program. Tasks that belong to other roles inside the squad can be requested as well (eg. testing – devops – quality or safety related tasks).
Profile
  • Language skills Dutch/French/English
  • Can work in an agile scrum team or so called squad.
  • Experience in Software development:
    Maven
    Expert Java (level D)
    AngularJS/NodeJs
    Spring boot
    Linux
  • Nice to have:
    C, C++
    MySQL/PostgreSQL
    Hibernate
    GIT
    Jira/Confluence
    Python/Bash
    Jenkins
    Docker
