Description

EQUANS in Grimbergen is looking for a Junior Field Engineer (International and Large Projects) to help realize our ever challenging objectives.

As a Junior Field Engineer you get to know almost every aspect of the project. In delivering assistance to the project team you get enriched with knowledge and experiences that reach far beyond the competences acquainted at school.

  • provide support to the Commercial and Tendering team during the tendering process
  • support negotiation with and selection of suppliers and subcontractors
  • assist the Engineering team in detailed engineering, work preparation
  • assist the Construction team in logistics & material management, construction and commissioning
  • provide input to quality control
  • participate in progress & controlling
  • keep good understanding with the customer trough meetings and adequate reporting

Qualifications

Do you possess the following competences & talents?

  • bachelor or master in engineering or sciences
  • strong affinity with technical disciplines such as piping & mechanical and/or electricity & instrumentation
  • you are an open minded and fast learner with a motivated and enthusiastic attitude
  • willing to work abroad (Western Europe) during the construction phase of the project with a fixed rotation schedule
  • excellent communication skills and working knowledge of English, Dutch and French
