The Mission

The Lead Buyer Will Be In Charge Of
  • Provide a functional link with the sector purchases
  • Provide a link with scheduling (SC) and EB (Technical Definition)
In the start-up phase
  • Apprehend the product and identify critical parts
  • Ensure the creation of product sheets
  • Continue to create the supplier base necessary for the prototype and production start-up - also following the "political" guidelines of the cluster
  • Collaborate with the participating entities in the development of the product to obtain the best QDC report.
  • Formalize the respective perimeters with its N+1 and the sector purchases.
During the production phase
  • Negotiate contracts and identify new strategic suppliers
  • Retrocede controlled supplies to sector purchases.
Profiel Le profil idéal répondra aux critères suivants:
  • You have a long, technically or commercially oriented higher education (with an affinity for technical products);
  • You have at least 15 years of successful experience as an international lead buyer/category manager in the field of project purchasing
  • You have an acute negotiating ability;
  • You have an irreproachable sense of honesty and ethics;
  • You are a good communicator, both internally and externally; you have an excellent team spirit and are willing to work closely with project managers;
  • You are clear, precise, firm and pugnacious;
  • You are completely autonomous
  • You are fluent in French and in English and are able to conduct complex negotiations with suppliers in English;
  • A good knowledge of SAP is an asset
  • You are open to travelling in Europe for short periods to our suppliers if it is necessary (10%)

Dans le cadre d’une mission de consultance/freelance, notre client recherche activement un (e) Responsable Achats/Lead Buyer (H/F) pour une mission de minimum 1 an.

Pour cette fonction, nous pouvons proposer un daily rate de 450€/jour tout compris, légérement négociable.
