A leader company in the pharmaceutical industry, based in Zaventem, is looking for a Lead Engineer Automation to run cross-cutting automation projects and set up a new strategy for the implementation of Industry 4.0 principles in the company. In this role as Lead Engineer Automation, you will report to the Engineering Manager.
The company is a centre of excellence in Europe in the pharmaceutical sector.
As Lead Engineer Automation, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Running projects in automation (hardware and software) throughout the different departments depending on the company needs
- Ensuring all the systems comply with the Good Manufacturing Processes
- Implementing the necessary cyber security measures
- Acting as SME during audits
- Being up to date regarding the industrial automation trends and adjust the roadmap accordingly.
About you:
- You hold a master’s degree in engineering
- You have several years of relevant experience in a similar position in the pharmaceutical sector
- You have very good knowledge of European and American GMP and GEP (Good Manufacturing/Engineering Practices) guidelines and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Fluency in English, Dutch or French is required.
