Two new generation Airbus A330-900neo are joining Air Belgium’s fleet. These new aircraft are offering even greater flight experiences with the latest technologies on board and better environmental performances.
Purpose of the position
The LMCC Coordinators ensure good coordination between line maintenance providers and minimize the impact of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the ability of the fleet to operate the scheduled flights. They are the focal point of contact of Air Belgium for the Line Station providers for routine matters as scheduled maintenance, disruptions, changes in aircraft schedule, needs of Flying Support Engineers and Ensure accurate reporting over the technical disruptions, and AIMS data accuracy on the matter.
LMCC Coordinators Monitor deferred defects, communicate to all affected stakeholders on generated impacts and plan corrective actions with the contracted Maintenance In addition, they are the central coordination and communication point in case of AOG. This includes parts ordering and logistics, MRO liaison, internal and external customers reporting on progress, and out-of-hours liaison with the OEM and providers AOG support. Ensure accurate AIMS update accordingly. LMCC also monitor active fleet via in-flight monitoring and reporting systems (Airbus AirmanWeb, Boeing AHM, SkyWise…) to anticipate technical issues and mitigate operational impacts.
Main activities and responsibilities
• Be the focal point of contact of Air Belgium for the Line Station providers for routine matters as scheduled maintenance, disruptions, changes in aircraft schedule, needs of Flying Support Engineers, etc.
• Ensure accurate reporting over the technical disruptions, and AIMS data accuracy on the matter.
• Monitor deferred defects, communicate to all affected stakeholders on generated impacts, plan corrective actions with the contracted Maintenance Organizations including the monitoring of the related parts provisioning. Trigger deferred defects interval extension request as appropriate.
• Communicate to all internal and external parties on fleet status and eventual restrictions on a routine basis, including the organisation of routine daily meetings to review status, identify issues and decide on priorities.
• Be the central coordination and communication point in case of AOG. This includes parts ordering and logistics, MRO liaison, internal and external customers reporting on progress, and out-of-hours liaison with the OEM and providers AOG support. Ensure accurate AIMS update accordingly.
• Monitor active fleet via in-flight monitoring and reporting systems (AirmanWeb, SkyWise…) to anticipate technical issues and mitigate operational impacts.
• Technical support to active flight crew over experience technical issues.
• Day to day line maintenance planning adjustment as required.
Financial responsibilities
Responsible to respect the decision making processes and overseeing business operations for the best interest of the business.
Quality Management responsibilities
- Control and monitor that the suppliers comply with AB contractual quality standards.
- Identify and report any deficiency in order to enable appropriate corrective action.
- Follow the applicable procedure and suggest improvements when necessary to improve the quality.
- Constantly look for ways to increase service quality.
Performance management responsibilities
Ensure that all within your powers is done to achieve the company key performance indicators.
Realising Operational Targets
• Monitor actual performance in terms of cost, quality and service of all maintenance suppliers and, where necessary report any deficiency in order to take corrective actions to ensure the realisation of the operational targets
• Assist to improve and maintain dispatch reliability of the Air Belgium aircraft fleet
Projects
• Support and participate in all technical related projects as assigned.
Profile Requirements
Self-behaviour

Requirements and qualifications
• Five years experience as line maintenance technician on complex aircraft
• Two years experience in a CAMO approved on complex aircraft
• Technical knowledge of systems of modern Airbus (A320/330/340/350/380) aircraft
• Good command of spoken and written English is a must, French and Dutch are assets.
• Computer literate with good administration skills, familiar with MS office and e-mail system.
• Holding Part 66 license is an asset
• Previous experience in a similar position is an asset.
