Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Automatic Distribution Center in Ninove.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of the material handling installations and keeping installation downtime to a minimum.

You will work in a large team, sharing responsibility for the continuous improvement of the operations in a KPI-installation..

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the availability of the material handling installations
  • Keep installation downtime to a minimum
  • Implement an action plan with colleagues to ensure proper functioning of the installation
  • Solve electrical and mechanical issues according to Dematic standard
  • Use PC, software tools (DIQ, MS office, CMMS, technical programming software)
  • Read and interpret electrical and/or mechanical drawings
  • Use special tools for troubleshooting
  • Perform technical cleaning
  • Store removed products on designated places
  • Guide technical operators
  • Work according to safety regulations

Profile

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Familiarity with PC and software tools (DIQ, MS office, CMMS, technical programming software)
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Good communication skills, on the workfloor we communicate in Dutch OR English.
  • Attention to detail
  • Commitment to safety regulations

Education And Experience

  • Technical degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience in maintenance of material handling installations
