The Marketing Localization Assistant provides support to the International Marketing efforts specifically as it relates to the localization of all communications, both written and audiovisual content, in multiple languages ensuring the delivery of qualitative localized assets across the portfolio of the company. You will be responsible for providing assistance on tasks and topics related to the localization of texts and audiovisual content for the company’s websites, editorials, videos, promotional materials, brochures, owner manuals, etc.

Taken & profielen

  • Support on overseeing the localization of all textual content. This includes ensuring provided source files are localize-ready, editing photography and marketing material by means of desktop publishing tools including delivery of print-ready files.
  • Support the localization of audiovisual content. This includes, in the pre/post-video production phases, taking care of translations/transcriptions requests, subtitling/dubbing/video editing.
  • Use video editing skills and knowledge to create various versions and cutdowns of pre-created videos.
  • Transform raw video footage into finished products by exporting the finished video for distribution considering different kinds of platforms and encode videos in several specifications and formats.
  • Maintains all content of the International Marketing Department to be in accordance with branding and distribution policies. Upholds style consistency throughout each project.
  • Responsible for follow up with all related parties to ensure on-time, on-budget, and on-quality delivery of localized content.
  • Assists in video/photo shoots by prop shopping and assisting on-site during videography on location and studio. Will also assist in event planning and logistics (i.e. trade shows, marketing coop promotions, etc.) including the timely and proper packaging and shipping of all products and event collateral.

Vaardigheden

  • You have a Bachelors and/or University Degree in Marketing or Postproduction.
  • You have at least two years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • You have good understanding of international business and localization processes.
  • You are highly proficient (native-like) in English, French (only reading/writing) and Dutch. Other languages are a plus.
  • You are computer literate and proficiency in using MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (more specifically Premier Pro, After Effects, InDesign, PhotoShop) and be comfortable with the MAC OS X platform.
  • You have an eye for detail and you are passionate about accuracy and clarity in all writing and editing.
