Mechanical Design Engineer - Kortrijk

Are you an innovative and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer with a passion for creating cutting-edge solutions? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team in Belgium. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing mechanical systems and components that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems, products, and components using 2D and 3D CAD software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze design specifications, and ensure compliance with technical standards and regulations.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and tests to evaluate the performance and reliability of mechanical designs.
  • Identify and resolve design issues, and implement design improvements to optimize product functionality and efficiency.
  • Generate detailed engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bill of materials.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to contribute to continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD programs.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in conducting feasibility studies, simulations, and tests using relevant software tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex design challenges.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
