Medior Cloud Linux Engineer

Our partner located in East-Flanders is looking for a Medior Cloud Linux Engineer to strengthen their team.

Having a good level in Dutch and English are mandatory, both oral and written.

The Job

You will design and implement complex, customer-specific environments.

You will be part of an on-call system, for those few service-down instances that occasionally occur.

You are considered the “in-house knowledge base” because of your expertise and contextual knowledge

of the environments you have built here and during your previous experiences.

You will train the team using your expertise and are proud to help them grow.

You are considered an important element in supporting our R&D engineers.

You will support complex migrations from analysis to execution, by means of your critical and experienced attitude.

Your profile

You have at least 3 years of experience or knowledge in one of the following:

Linux-focused OSs, VMWare’s ESX server

Email application servers, Web application servers, Database application servers

DNS application servers, Scripting languages such as PHP, perl, python,…

Chef, Puppet and Ansible

Containerization platforms, Orchestration, DTAP / DTAP streets (Jenkins, Bamboo, …)

Advanced Knowledge Of Any Of The Following

Caching technologies, Kernel modifications, Compilation from source, Clustering technologies, Linux security, Storage
