As a NC2 Capabilities Management Analyst, supporting NATO Allied Command Transformation (ACT), you will be trusted to work on NATO’s Nuclear Consultation, Command and Control (NC3) capability development, addressing the current program and future NC3 requirements. NC3 Modernization will follow the NATO Common Funded Capability Delivery Governance Model (CFCDGM).In This Role, a Typical Day Will Include
  • Provision of capacity and expertise in support of the development of Nuclear Command & Control (NC2) capability program management products in accordance with the NATO governance model for the delivery of common funded capabilities across Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership, Personnel, Facilities and Interoperability lines of development in a holistic lifecycle management approach, based on the guidance of the ACT NC3 Capability Program Director (PD) and Program Coordinators (PC);
  • Supporting the ACT NC3 Capability Program Director (PD) and Program Coordinators in their program management efforts, including the interaction with NC2 stakeholders at all levels, from strategic to tactical
  • Supporting the interaction with NATO Agencies in context of the NC2 projects’ implementation and validation of capabilities
  • Providing methodological and analytical expertise to the NC2 Projects Team in support of the development and adaptation of the NC2 architecture, including communication infrastructure, networks, services and applications
  • Providing analytical expertise and advice to support the assessment of potential solution spaces to address operational requirements
  • Supporting NC2 project Information Management in accordance with NC3 PD and PC guidance
What You’ll Need
  • A University or Bachelor’s degree
  • Three (3) years of Program/Project Management experience within the past ten (10) years within a complex and dynamic environment, with a focus on military capability development
  • Five (5) years of experience in the last fifteen (15) years in the field of capability development processes related to national/NATO military command and control at the development and/or acquisition phases
  • Experience with the NATO/Allied Command Transformation procedural environment for capability development
  • Background in the field of NATO nuclear deterrence policies and/or command & control of NATO nuclear operations.
  • An active NATO and/or U.S. SECRET clearance is required.
  • Valid passport with no travel restrictions to NATO member nations
