As the Operations Coordinator/Management Assistant, the Venture Development team can rely on you for administrative support in various ways. You will become an essential part of the team, which is responsible for the creation of ventures based on imec technologies. The team turns venture ideas and projects into successful spin-off companies. But to do so, they need you to have their back!
In this role, you support the Venture Development team by:
- organizing the “Pitch Days” and following-up on the different steps in this campaign. You are the point of contact from A to Z and take care of all the arrangements: you open the call, keep track of the timings, collect all the necessary information, organize the decision meetings, ...
- supporting marketing campaigns and taking care of internal and external communication.
- contributing to a smoothly functioning team by giving appropriate administrative support.
- managing the agenda of one or more executives. Thanks to your support, they can rest assured that their appointments will be scheduled as efficiently as possible.
- taking care of the practical organization of meetings and all logistical arrangements during these meetings.
- keeping track of the teams’ budget.
- doing the administrative follow-up of contracts.

Who you are

If you combine this with a pinch of creativity, strong communication skills and a bachelor’s degree in a business or office management related area, we almost will think it’s too good to be true. The icing on the cake, would be your comparable work experience in an incubator or accelerator. Since we work in a multi-cultural and international environment, a good knowledge of English is key.
