Your Profile:
Your profile:
  • You are fluent in English (TME business language) and Dutch. Additional languages is an asset.
  • You have relevant operational experience in a manufacturing, logistics or Research & Development environment.
  • You have a master in Engineering complemented with a Prevention Advisor Level 1 qualification
  • You have an experience of 10 years as a Prevention Advisor Level 1, and at least 5 years as Head of the Internal Service, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment

Your team and your responsibilities:
Team/division description:
TME Safety & Health Division is responsible to deploy the Toyota Safety Management System across all operations in Europe and to further strengthen the Corporate Safety Culture across all business units towards our zero accident objective.
The Internal Service for Prevention & Protection at Work takes on that role towards the 4 Toyota sites in Belgium.

Your responsibilities:
  • As Head of the Internal Service you will oversee the 2 Technical Working Units for TME in Belgium
  • You liaise with the different Heads of operations to support so that the Global Prevention Plan and Year Action Plans are timely prepared and updated
  • You lead the Working Unit of our Head Office, Technical Center and Vehicle Logistic Center on a daily basis, ensuring the secretariat of the periodical meetings of the Committee for Prevention & Protection at Work
  • You follow-up on the 7 wellbeing domains, track legislative changes and advise all stakeholders and ensure the legal register is up to date
  • You support the planning of the dynamic risk assessment system, advise on risk assessments, put in use of equipment and registration & storage of chemicals
  • You liaise with the External Service for Prevention & Protection at Work on their activities and ensure these are planned, communicated and implemented within TME
  • You liaise with member representatives, authorities, etc. as and where required
  • You advise line management on their obligations for S&H, decide where and when to practically support them in their obligations and advise on the development of policies & procedures.
  • You take the legal role in support for psychosocial aspects and reintegration
  • You ensure GDPR compliance of the S&H division, support assessment and registration
  • You periodically review & report the performance of the Internal & External Service and ensure the Annual Report is prepared and approved by Top Management.
