CONTEXT :

Within the department « Data Driven Transformation » an « End-user-computing »-cell is involved in the financial reporting and controlling processes. The objective of this job is to clarify current activities in relation to financial reporting and controlling processes. This entails to start from the detailed list of SAS programs, analyse the pre- and post-steps within the process. Present the conclusions on a conceptual and aggregated level in a clear and concise way.

MISSION :

• You redefine current responsibilities and accountailities for the involved activities, and to adjust towards the current organizational setup, resulting in a clear « TO BE » process overview.

• You target operating model with RACI-matrix to make the role of all relevant parties transparent (business – EUC – IT).

• You develop a transition plan for the organization with the « TO BE » target operating model. This includes ensuring that process guidelines are available and that necessare knowledge gaps and transfers are listed.

• You deepen yoursel into the topics and the processes.

• You start from the current inventory of (SAS) programs and inventorize the relevant parts of the process.

• You identify risks, gap,… in the current process and propose alternatives on how they can be mitigated.

• You synthesize your findings towards management.

TECHNICAL SKILLS :

• Knowledge of SAS Language requirements:

• Dutch (Fluent) and English (Fluent)

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE :

• Experience or a strong affinity with insurances and the financial processes (BEGAAP – IFRS17 – Solvency) is a must.

• Experience with designing organizational processes.

SOFT SKILLS :

• Self-starter

• Strong analytical mindset and be able to bring structure and conceptualize the detailed input into all overall concise picture.
