We are seeking an experienced Delivery Lead / Program Manager to oversee large-scale digital programs and projects within a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will manage a diverse project portfolio, ensuring delivery excellence in line with regulatory and business requirements.

This role combines strategic program governance with hands-on project leadership, making it ideal for a professional who can balance high-level oversight with operational detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of digital projects across the Geel site.
  • Define program strategy, scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensure adherence to pharma regulatory requirements (GxP, GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, validation).
  • Drive delivery governance, reporting, and risk/issue management.
  • Engage and align with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.
  • Oversee project execution phases: planning, design, implementation, testing, and transition to operations.
  • Promote best practices in change management and communication.

What are we looking for?

  • 5–10 years of experience in senior IT Project/Program Management roles.
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale projects in pharma or life sciences.
  • Strong knowledge of GxP/GMP frameworks and regulatory compliance in IT projects.
  • Background in digital transformation and pharma IT systems (ERP, MES, LIMS, Data/Analytics, Automation, etc.).
  • Skilled in governance, portfolio management, risk mitigation, and vendor management.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
  • Hands-on project delivery approach, able to manage both detail and strategic oversight.

Skills & Certifications

  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch and/or French is a plus.
  • Project management certifications (PMP, Prince2, Agile/Scrum) are an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
