AGC Automotive Europe specializes in providing customers with complete solutions in terms of car glazing and related technologies. It includes production and sales of products to vehicle manufacturers (Cars and Trains) in terms of Glazing, Added Value products and components systems; as well as a complete range of service in the aftermarket area from production to distribution and retail.
We are looking for a Project & Process Manager to join our growing WIDEYETM team to strengthen our integrated LiDAR system development activities.
WIDEYETM is a corporate startup which develops advanced solutions for aesthetic and system level sensor integration in the field of ADAS and AD. (https://www.wideye.vision).

Role
- Take charge of the next generation WIDEYETM automotive sensor integration projects
- Support the growth and continuous success of the global WIDEYETM business and operations
- Participate in the development and promotion of WIDEYETM competences and product roadmap
- Lead the projects throughout the V-Model and full automotive project lifecycle – from negotiations, acquisition, planning to project set-up, development, industrialization, testing and delivery activities (Opex/Capex, Quality, Delivery and Methodology)
- Monitor the global performance of the projects based on KPIs and manage general project reports (MPS, Design Change, Process Change, Cost Trackers and Summaries)
- Manage project requirements and priorities, communicate on project risks and resolve issues
- Plan and lead projects in both progressively structured, e.g. waterfall, more flexible, adaptive, e.g. agile and hybrid project management styles
- Support the deployment of industrialization strategies and ensure the success of the operations
- Lead the alignment of the project and development activities and responsibilities with customers, suppliers and partners and within the team
- Learn to understand the WIDEYETM products technology, systems & safety requirements on a high level
- Communicate and cooperate with different technical teams, incl. hardware, software, mechanical design, optical design, glass design, system
- Define and manage the development of business processes and methods compliant with automotive project Tier level requirements (Tier 1, Tier 2)
- Lead the deployment and continuous improvement of methods, processes and tools for automotive systems development (V-Model, ASPICE, Requirements traceability, FUSA, etc.)
- Promote the automotive system development practices across the organization and coach team members
Experience
- Background in a technical domain (automotive, process engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, communications engineering, computer science, math, physics, optical engineering, etc.)
- Successful several years track record delivering customer level projects as project manager or technical team leader in relevant engineering and manufacturing practices and (experience with automotive OEMs and Tier 1s is desirable)
- Experience in deployment of new development processes in organizations and methods (A-SPICE assessor certification is a plus)
- Know-how in perception, functional safety or ADAS systems and understanding of automotive E/E & Functional architectures are desirable
Soft skills
- Self-motivated, autonomous and responsible with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong project management, planning and organizational skills
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to show initiative and communicate in a direct and diplomatic way
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Business fluency in English. Knowledge of any other language (French, German, Japanese, Dutch ...) is a plus
