This family-owned life science company has taken the leading position in their therapeutic area within Belgium and is taking over the international market as well. They are looking for a Project R&D Specialist to support the VP R&D in several development projects and lead this to success. You will report directly to the VP R&D which will make the communication more efficient and give you better access to important business information.
In this role, you will combine your organisational and technical skills to achieve project goals. You can be part of a team working on a big project where you will write the project plan from initiation to implementation in the lab to the manufacturing process. While coordinating different stakeholders, you will get a good overview on multiple projects and complex R&D programs, making it interesting for you to see what innovations are in the pipeline.
You will start with a 6 month contract but if everything goes well this will turn into a permanent contract so you can see it as something for the long-term.

Profile:
Master Degree or PhD in Bio-engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering,… Or something similar.
Experience with enzymes, proteins, antibodies,… manufacturing processes is required
First experience in R&D for the pharmaceutical or medical device industry is preferred
Flexible personality
Fluent level of English and Dutch
